At the next Expanding Community Giving Community Conversation, Dr. Suresh Chandra will share why he trusts, values and believes in the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro‘s role to inspire giving from our richly diverse communities and experiences.
The Public Art Endowment (PAE), an initiative of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina, has agreed to select the Greensboro Science Center (GSC) as the site of the next public artwork project for the endowment. The PAE will work with the GSC to facilitate the selection and design phase of the artist as well as assist in the fabrication and installation phases. This public art plan will focus on transforming the entry plaza to the GSC’s newly renovated entrance.
As part of strengthening the community, CFGG is currently implementing the Expanding Community Giving (ECG) initiative to engage more people of color in philanthropy. By taking a survey, you will help us reframe and expand a new narrative for Black philanthropy in the Greater Greensboro community. The survey will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Nonprofits interested in applying for a Women to Women grant are invited to participate in an information session on April 11 (9:00 - 10:00 am) at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, 330 S Greene Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. Attendees will receive additional information and will be encouraged to discuss ideas for collaboration with fellow participants.
